Implementation of Huron 10.5 in ResearchUVA (RUVA) is quickly approaching. Here's a look at what we've been up to and next steps. 

Testing

OSP and select administrators from schools and departments have been testing Huron 10.5 in the preview site. Everything is working as expected so far. 

Timeline

Deployment is scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025 at 6 p.m. ET. The system will be taken offline through the weekend and restored once the OVPR Info Team and OSP conduct validations. Systems are expected to be fully operational again by late Sunday, July 27. We will continue to communicate about any changes or developments. 

Deadlines Impacted by System Downtime

If you have a proposal due date or other deadline that will be impacted by system downtime, please reach out to your department or school research administration and/or OSP as soon as possible!
